Greg definitely wins the 'You haven't changed a bit, the painting in your attic must be hideous' award.

Oh God, immediate flashback to Greg painstakingly picking out Stairway to Heaven on acoustic guitar at some party or other....

I was trying Stairway to heaven on a banjo the other day, sounded as bad as I probably did then. A few weeks ago I just had to try Smoke on the Water on a shruti, world music fusion is so now. Tonight I'm off to meet the band "Phat Bollard" at a festival near Bath, where I'll be playing along to some gypsy tunes on my harmonicas and bones. By the end of the weekend I'll probably be playing the washboard. "When I grow up I want to be a musician", "Now don't be silly, you can only do one or the other"

Oh God, immediate flashback to Greg painstakingly picking out Stairway to Heaven on acoustic guitar at some party or other.... luxury! i used to dream of hearing the main gig rather than the rehearsals... greg: seriously though, glad to hear you're still doing your music. i had a gander at 'phat bollard' on youtube; they look a lot of fun!
