After uni at Durham I worked in computing in Birmingham. Bored of that in 1992, I went to teach maths and physics in Zimbabwe with VSO for 4 years. I even introduced rugby to the school - not very successfully as we only ever won one match and to start with played with a football and a shoe for the junior team. I did an MSc in 1997 and then completed the installation of a water system in a village in Cameroon in 1998 - no idea if it still works...as long as I hear nothing I can always assume it is! Tried teaching in this country for a brief period - I won't be doing that again! After that, with some help from Jon Penny, I got into accountancy and qualified with Deloitte (in Birmingham) and have been an accountant since then. Currently I'm working with Autism West Midlands, but looking for something new. Attachments:
